Nancy’s POV
Since that
screamy day, every night before I sleep I always thought about him. I can’t get
over the day I actually met him. Remember when I fainted in his house? Yeah,
Maura told me he was so worried about me. She also said that when she asked
whether he liked me, his cheek turned completely red. I went bed that night
thinking about the way he said sorry to me, the way he looked at me… it was so
unforgetable. Could it be that Niall Horan actually loves me?
Then I
remember something Mrs. Stewart –one of the nuns in my old orphanage in Canada-
told me. She once told me that all boys would do what Niall did when they love
a girl, but they just too shy to show it. It was clear, Niall loves me. So I
decided to help him out. I would give him a plenty of opportunity to get over
his shyness.
And like
the God would really like to support my plan, He gave me another reason for
getting me closer to Niall. So, after like three day past that screamy day, at
the early morning I met a lady named Mrs. Nelson bringing some hard
ingredients.
*flashback*
“Excuse
me, Mrs. Nelson… do you need any help?” I asked her.
“Oh dear,
I would love to get one” she handed me some of them. She stopped for a while
before continued her sentences “Actually, dear… do you wanna help me in my cancer
support center? I really need some, my employees went to summer vacation with
their family…”
“Well…
Since I’m free for 3 months, and I guess George would be fine with it, I’ll
take it then… it must be fun” I said.
“Thank
you, dear… don’t worry, when they got back, you don’t need to come again. And
I’ll give you some salary” she said and smiled as we arrived at the cancer
support center. Wait, what?! No! I’m not considering it as a help if they pay
for it!
“No! Mrs.
Nelson don’t! I’ll do it just for free” I said politely.
“Oh dear,
you’re so kind… thank you so much”
I nodded
and said “When should I start coming?”
“Tomorrow
would be nice, dear… and thank you, Nancy” she said. I put the hard ingredients
in the place she told me to.
*end of flashback*
Since that day, I started coming to help her make food for
people there. Just a few days after that, I found Niall was there too. God is
so nice to me. Thank you, God.
By the
fifth week of the summer break I learnt to control myself. But then Amy Green
emerged. Ugh! I hate that girl! Amy Green is nothing but a whiny gossipy bossy
back stabbing flirt. Since she came here, all she ever did was told everyone to
do this and that while she was just gossiping on her phone. When Mrs. Nelson
came, she would pretend that she had done everything right. And that just be
worse when Niall came. She’s such a good actress. And there she was, holding
hands with Niall. MY Niall! My solution was just ignored them. I knew a boy
like Niall would know the real Amy Green sooner or later. And it took a week.
They broke up at lunch. She didn’t take it well.
So by the
fact that Niall had escaped from the devil’s arms, he started to be nice to me
again. He was so shy and so cute, and he smells like an apple. I couldn’t get
enough for it. I secretly sniffing apple anytime I got a chance to be next to
him.
